Introduction

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game is released under the Open Game License, meaning the core rules that drive the Pathfinder RPG system are available to anyone to use for free under the terms of the OGL. This compendium of rules, charts, and tables contains all of the open rules in the system, and is provided for the use of the community of gamers and publishers working with the system.

This compendium is NOT the official Pathfinder Roleplaying Game! Players interested in a user-friendly introduction to the Pathfinder system will want to check out the full line of Pathfinder Roleplaying Game products, which comes with lots of great monsters, illustrations, advice and more! All of these products are also available in affordable PDF editions.

The Pathfinder Reference Document contains all errata to the Roleplaying Game line of products as of 9/30/2015, and errata from the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Technology Guide as of 12/16/2014. For detailed errata PDF documents, please visit the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Free Resources page.

Note as of 5/19/2016: The errata released for the second printing of Ultimate Equipment has not yet been added. This update is expected to be available after our annual convention, PaizoCon, held May 27-30, 2016.

5/25/2016 - Updated with content from Bestiary 5. Improved Spell List index, updated global indices, and corrected bugs/issues from the reporting thread.
